Dr. Elizabeth is a 2022 graduate from MIZZOU’s Veterinary Medicine, originally from St. Louis. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Kalamazoo College (Michigan) and UMSL. Her interests include Veterinary Behavior, internal medicine, dermatology, and orthopedics. She is Fear Free certified. As a veterinarian, Dr. Karslake wishes to provide outstanding care for her patients so they can live their best lives with their owners. She owns two cats (Opal and Rosie); her family dogs are named Hana and Hiro. Dr. Karslake enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling in her free time.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Dillon completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2015. She worked in the veterinary field for two years before deciding to go back to the University of Missouri, where she graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2021 with an award for excellence in exotic animal medicine. Dr. Dillon is most interested in small animal soft tissue surgery, exotics, and emergency medicine. She and her husband, Sam, recently moved to St. Louis with their 3 dogs (Kyle, Sully, and Josie) and 1 cat (Tris). In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her family, snow skiing, horseback riding, and reading.
Dawn joined our team in 2023. She has a passion for animals and enjoys working with all types, particularly cats. She is always delighted to see you and your pet at the clinic, and she takes the time to get to know them. She is also a valuable resource for pet owners, providing them with information and advice on how to keep their pets healthy and happy.
Brooke, a pre-vet student, joined our team in 2023 as a veterinary assistant. She enjoys the daily interactions with new pets and the fact that no two days are the same. In her free time, she enjoys cooking. She is a big fan of doodles and has three of them: Poppy, Daisy, and Violet. She also has a cat named George. Brooke is ready to help your pet live a happy and healthy life.
Lily joined our team in 2023. She’s passionate about helping animals live long and healthy lives. She loves visiting puppies and kittens, especially! Lily has a bachelor’s degree in science from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a minor in chemistry. She enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, and traveling. She has two cats, Felix and Sylvester.
Leah joined the STLVC team in 2021 as a veterinary assistant. She is currently enrolled in classes for pre-veterinary studies at Washington University. Her biggest interest is in Conservation studies and preservation.
Raeann joined us at STLVC in 2021 as a veterinary assistant. She is currently enrolled in Penn Fosters Veterinary Technician Program. She strongly believes that the human-animal bond is important and wishes to help relieve suffering. She shares her home with three pets, Weezie, her red heeler, and her two tuxedo cats Cabinet and Poseidon. Outside of work, she loves listening to music and playing video games with her kids. She enjoys making soap and crocheting.
Amanda joined STLVC in 2020 as a veterinary assistant. She is finishing up her BS in biology and wildlife conservation certificate through UMSL. Amanda’s favorite part of being at STLVC is meeting all of you! She loves meeting our patients and clients and experiencing everything the field has to offer. She has one cat named Carl, a tabby cat she adopted, known to be “inquisitive to a fault,” and she loves him dearly for it.
Laura joined the STLVC team in 2020 as a client service coordinator. She has been in the veterinary world since 2016, and her goal is to be a veterinary technician one day! She loves many aspects of the job and is excited to grow in her career.
J’lyssa joined the STLVC team in 2019 as a Veterinary Assistant. J’lyssa can be found helping in various roles throughout the clinic and loves the variety each role has to offer. Some of her favorite activities include reading and running.
Bailey joined the STLVC team in 2018 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. She graduated from Veterinary Technician Institute at Hickey College in 2016. Her favorite part of the job is helping animals and their owners. She has three pets, John Henry her horse, Conway her dog, and Barn Kitty, her cat. She loves riding horses, reading, hiking and team roping.

Dr. Alyson Brown is originally from Edwardsville, Illinois. She is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat medic before beginning her veterinary medicine career. She attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for her undergraduate degree and completed veterinary school at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys reading, quilting, hiking, and spending time with her husband trying local restaurants and craft breweries when not working. They have two dogs, Obie and Ruby, and two cats named Penny and Cincy.
